BOWERS Groove-Gauging_1 — Plug Gauge

The XT measuring slot series bore micrometer is designed with a stepped anvil based on the XT three-point bore micrometer, which can enter the slot more quickly and repeatedly measure the size of the slot. This inside micrometer is set up using the supplied calibrated ring gauge. Each ring gauge size is recorded in the micrometer memory, making measurements faster and easier after changing probes.

• The trigger-action pistol grip control allows the operator to instantly retract the anvil and move the gauge across the entrance diameter, then extend the anvil to engage the groove diameter for immediate, absolute measurements. Standard XT series probes can be used to measure internal threads, internal grooves, deep holes and other applications.
